Mike Ashley is in America on business, he failed to attend the meetings to discuss Kevin Keegan's future, leaving it down to Derek Llambias and Dennis Wise to debate the issues Keegan had with the club, board & mismanagement, in a responsible & objective manner. Could this really happen when it was alleged that Llambias and Keegan were locked in a bitter argument which appeared to be irresolvable?
Whilst Keegan and Llambias were in a secret location, said to be Manchester Ashley was in the States negotiating his next business deal. Surely for an owner who has played such a huge part in the uncertainty surrounding his club he should have at least been in the country?
In the meantime, striker Michael Owen is said to lead any player revolt after it was revealed that Llambias was fully behind moving him out of St James' Park just hours before the transfer window shut, as well as many other first team stars.
First of all I just want to sympathise with you all. I know how I would feel if Rafa walked away. Totally gutted.
Newcastle fans have the same passion as Liverpool fans so the extent of what has happened must be totally devastating.
Ashley is a spineless t*at, disappearing and leaving Wise & co to sort things out with KK. Just sounds just like the two clowns we've got running our gaff. I don't blame KK for walking, what manager wouldn't ? Hope this resolves itself soon.
