Ince Odds Slashed As He Remains Quiet

Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince is hotly tipped to be offered the managers position at Newcastle United, despite just three games in charge at Blackburn. Ince has had a limited managerial career, starting off under Dennis Wise at Swindon in 2006 where he was given a coaching role, and progressing to manage Macclesfield and MK Dons in the lower leagues.

However his current job as Mark Hughes' replacement at Blackburn is his biggest job yet.

The former West Ham and Liverpool player made his playing debut against Newcastle United, in 1986 playing for West Ham in the first division.

Ince said of the link to vacant managers role at Newcastle:

"It is flattering to be linked to any club but it is speculation and I do not comment on speculation,"

Odds on Ince becoming the next manager have been slashed from 66-1 to 6-1 in recent days ahead of Alan Shearer, Dennis Wise and Gerard Houllier, but he is still behind, Gus Poyet who is marked at 4/6 and Didier Deschamps who William Hill have at 5/1.

They also have Kevin Keegan down at 8/1 to make his 3rd comeback.

Well would you want a manager who would leave his current job after 3 matches?

Doesnt say much about his committment.

Don't see Ince coming here. He seems more loyal than that. But I could be wrong. Out of the possibilities I don't think I would want him tbh.

didier deschamps doesnt do much for me (not that i know alot about him).

it seems he took over a very good monaco team and won 1 cup. He then did nothing with juventus after inheriting the team off capello.

He resigned in 2007 and im not sure what he's done since.

Unless Ince is deaf, dumb, Blind and a complete retard - he wont leave calm, stable Blackburn Rovers to come up here to Hurricane Newcastle (Sm133)
