38 Applicants For Vacant Job

Today's Chronicle Live are reporting that Newcastle United FC have had 38 serious applicants for the vacant managerial post but that those 38 they have been whittled down to 3 prospective candidates. With the Premier League back in full swing this weekend all talk of replacing Kevin Keegan will be put on hold as Newcastle take on Hull amid fans protests & lack of support/noise within the stadium.
It is rumoured that Mike Ashley will not be in attendance, let alone voicing his support for his team amongst the fans for fear of a backlash, despite allegedly upping his security this week.
Ince and Gus Poyet of Tottenham Hotspur are the main contenders for the job, both have previously worked with current Director of Football Dennis Wise, at Swindon and both have a solid friendship with the former Chelsea player.
However both Ince and Poyet have played down speculation, with Spurs issuing a statement last week insisted that their man is going nowhere.
Blackburn are yet to comment on Ince's name repeatedly cropping up, but the former MK Dons manager has insisted he will not comment on speculation.
So who are these 38 candidates?
