Chris Hughton has spoken to nufc.co.uk ahead of tomorrow nights game at Home Park and has explained that whilst the trip to Plymouth by coach (rather than plane) will be a long one, he will not allow it to ruin his preparations for the match - a match where 1 point will ensure the team receive Championship Champions medals.
He told the official site;
"It's one of those things that can't be helped so we have to get on with it. Yes it's not ideal but we will do everything we can to make sure it doesn't affect our preparations for the game.
Our fans will be making the same journey as well so we're all in this one together really. But it's just as well our lads get on well and have got a good team spirit because it's a very long journey.
The lads will no doubt have a few videos to pass the time and we'll also be breaking up the journey."
Hughton was asked in response whether the team will be using the footage of the side's 0-0 FA Cup game against Plymouth back in January en route to the match and he replied;
"I don't think we'll be putting that one on. I might joke with the lads that we'll be watching is as part of our pre-match preparations on the way down but I think a few of them might ask to get off the bus!"
The 400mile coach trip began today at 1pm after all aircraft were grounded due to volcanic ash in the air.
