Newcastle youngster Jermaine Jenas has been called up to the England squad for the friendly against Denmark at Old Trafford this Sunday.
JENAS GETS ENGLAND CALL-UP
Due to the injuries of three England regulars Kieron Dyer, Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves, Jenas and Charlton midfielder Scott Parker have been drafted in.
This isn’t Jermaine’s first England cap; he made his senior debut in the friendly against Australia and was used again in the games against South Africa and Serbia and Montenegro. Jenas was then moved back to David Platt’s U21 squad to gain more experience.
