Basel kick-off at 7.30pm, NOT 7.45pm

Kick-off for the upcoming UEFA Cup game with FC Basel on Thursday has been brought foward 15 minutes and is now at 7.30pm - despite the match tickets stating 7.45pm.

To all the fans who are going to St. James' Park on Thursday, please DO NOT turn up at 7.45pm.

For some reason the kick-off has been brought foward 15 minutes from the original 7.45pm time, so 7.30pm is the CORRECT kick-off time. Make sure you all know this and ignore the kick-off time stated on match tickets which says 7.45pm kick-off.

So to put it simply: 7.30pm - CORRECT. 7.45pm - INCORRECT.

We don't want everybody turning up late, 15 minutes into the game. For starters, the atmosphere should be a priority for fans.
