Shearer for england

the press hounded a man they should have treated as a national hero, so tough luck I say. Why should he return. If they learned to shut their mouths and engage their brains once in a while it might be better for everyone.

What with assistant managers begging Alan Shearer to return, you would think that he walked away unaided. Why don't the gentlemen of the press take a long look at themselves, they wanted Shearer out they got what they wanted, now where are England. Stay in retirment Alan, and look after the people that always appreciated you.
