Henrik Larsson's agent has today denied the reports which have linked his client with a move to Newcastle United and St James' Park in January, but added he would listen to any Premiership offers in the summer.
LARSSON RUMOURS
Reports on Monday morning suggested the Swede could be tempted to move during the Winter transfer window if Celtic were to fail to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages - with the Magpies set to table a £3million bid.
However, agent Rob Jansen told the BBC that a January move would be highly unlikely, and said:
"This suggestion is completely ridiculous, Henrik will finish his career in Scotland with Celtic at the end of this season.
"He will not leave Celtic in January and will stay at the club until the end of the season. Of course he will consider offers from the Premiership if they come in then."
