Newcastle United manager Sir Bobby Robson is having some second thoughts over the possibility of allowing midfielder Hugo Viana to leave St James' Park on-loan in January.
HUGO NO GO?
Robson said: "There is some benefit to letting Hugo Viana go out on loan. But there is no benefit if in January, February or March we pick up an injury in midfield and one of our best players is playing for somebody else.
"Where is the benefit in that? We have signed players and given them good contracts to play for Newcastle United, full stop. That applies to everybody.
"I will make the decision and not agents or other clubs who want our players. It annoys me - we're going to dig our heels in."
