ROBERT IN-LINE FOR NEW DEAL
After a difficult relationship [Laurent's Official Website didn't help matters], the pair now are getting along just fine - and Robson is already talking about giving his attacker a new deal.
Robson said: "For the first time, I think Laurent has a future here beyond his current contract.
"He had to improve before we would consider any re-engagement, and he's done that.
"He wouldn't be getting a contract on the strength of one performance. What he has had to show is that he can do that consistently.
"He should be in Portugal next summer because he's a match winner - that's his next challenge, to get into the French squad."
