NEWCASTLE VS SPURS FOR REID

Newcastle United are set to trump Tottenham Hotspur for Nottingham Forest's Andy Reid.
Spurs have had a £2.5 million bid rejected by Forest this month for the Republic of Ireland midfielder and are expected to follow that up with an improved £4 million offer, but Forest have reportedly slapped a £6million price tag on the Irish star.
Newcastle manager Robson is more than willing to meet that price as he looks to improve his side in order to reach the fourth and final Champions League place.
