Nobby Solano Confirms Villa Bid

NOBBY CONFIRMS VILLA BID

Newcastle United's Peruvian winger Nobby Solano, has confirmed that Premiership rivals Aston Villa have made a bid for him.

Solano said: "Newcastle has asked for more than £2.75m. I feel that the club doesn't want me to leave so easily and that makes me calm.

"I am confident because I have been playing in the last games.

"I have to analyse what is the best thing for me. I know that the coach of Aston Villa is interested in me but a player can't have negotiations directly with a club.

"There isn't anything sure yet so, for the moment, I will keep on playing for Newcastle as if nothing has happened."
