Newcastle Linked With Transfer-Listed Nicky Butt

BUTT LINKED WITH MOVE

Newcastle United are favourites to land Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt.

Butt is becoming increasingly unsettled at Old Trafford and is even questioning whether boss Sir Alex Ferguson actually rates him anymore.

Spurs, Manchester City and Leicester City are also chasing the England midfielder and "The Sun" claims that Sir Bobby is ready to splash £7 million on Butt next month.

With Gary Speed, 34, now coming to the end of his career, Robson is looking for a new defensive midfielder.

Nicky Butt has had his transfer-request accepted thismorning!
