TRIO RETURN

Newcastle United have recieved a massive boost, by the return of injured trio Shola Ameobi, Lee Bowyer and Craig Bellamy - who are all back in training.

Ameobi's is pressing to make his first-team comeback against Fulham on Monday night after making a remarkable comeback following a fractured his cheekbone at Charlton four weeks ago.

Bowyer is more likely to make a comeback against Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round on 24 January, while Bellamy is still around two weeks away from a return to competitive action - but is making good progess.
