No Newcastle Talks For Larsson

NO LARSSON TO NEWCASTLE TALKS

Henrik Larsson’s agent has denied claims that Newcastle United have started talks regarding a summer move to St James’ Park with the Celtic striker.

Larsson, who is out of contract in the summer is available on a Bosman free transfer, is wanted by the Magpies' and several other clubs.

Recent reports have suggested that Newcastle have started contract negotiations, but Larsson's agent Rob Jansen said:

"For several months, we have heard Sir Bobby Robson talk about Henrik in interviews. Nobody has talked with me or Henrik.

"If somebody has talked to Celtic FC, I don't know. The only thing I can say is that it is not true. At the end of the month, we will sit down and discuss exactly what he wants.

"He will follow his heart and it will be my job to find the right club. When he knows exactly what he wants, he will make his decision.”
