He is delighted to be gaining fitness and being able to play in the reserves this week has made him even more determined.

"I owe Newcastle everything and my main priority has to be them…I have a major commitment to the club. I have to rule myself out of any international selection, until at least the summer."

This will be good news for Newcastle manager Sir Bobby Robson, considering Craig has been involved in several Club V Country battles.

Bellamy admitted than through injury he has spent a lot of time away from the pitch "I'm waking up every morning and facing 45 minutes on the bike, and what makes it worse is the club's gym looks over the first team training - it's depressing looking out at the first team boys training." But cant wait to get back into things. After declaring he wants to play 90 minutes straight off Newcastle players and fans can only see this as a good sign.

Craig Bellamy was paid Newcastle a huge compliment in claiming that he owes Newcastle everything for pulling him though his ordeal. "At times I thought it would never end.”
