LAURENT ROBERT - AIMING FOR 4TH

Pundits are now claiming that Gerard Houllier's have the advantage because of their convincing 2-1 cup win in the FA Cup, but after all, it was the FA Cup! Liverpool could well have been knocked out in the previous round by Yeovil Town, who fought until the bitter end!
Magpies' Laurent Robert bagged yet another sensational goal at Anfield (this time, a long-range freekick) and believes that the pundits are speaking nonsense.
He said: "We are very disappointed, but now we have to make sure we start winning again at the weekend and keep going for fourth place, to get into the Champions League.
"Liverpool will challenge for fourth place as well, but I don't think the result on Saturday will make too much difference about that.
"There are a lot of games to go before the end of the season."
Robert was disappointed about the FA Cup defeat, but added: "We're upset about the FA Cup, but we have to go for fourth place and also the Uefa Cup, so this season is not over for us. There is plenty to play for."
