Magpies' Eye Carr Bid

CARR BID

While the Magpies' are interested in Manchester United and England midfielder Nicky Butt, Robson is desperate to land a right-back before the transfer window closes as he looks to boost his defensive line.

It is believed that any bid made will involve selling Andy Griffin to Birmingham in order to raise some cash, with Nobby Solano having already being SOLD to Aston Villa.

Spurs are reportedly asking for around £4 million for their skipper, who has less than 18 months left on his current contract.
