Despite being linked with the likes of Stephen Carr, Henrik Larsson and Alan Smith, Sir Bobby has only brought in Michael Bridges on loan from Leeds.
Carl Cort, Tresor Lomana Lua Lua and Nolberto Solano have all left the club, and Toon fans have been questioning Robson who has let one of the clubs best players (Nobby) leave without bringing anybody in to replace him.
However, Robson said: "We're going with what we've got and I think that will be good enough.
"What we want we can't get at the moment, so we're keeping our powder dry and building up a little kitty for the start of next season."
