LARSSON UPDATE

He said: "I have been everywhere, according to the media. I've been to Newcastle to talk, to Barcelona, to Arsenal. I have not spoken to anyone and my agent has spoken to no one. There is nothing new.

"I heard on the radio that I was signing for Newcastle 48 hours before the end of the transfer window and I am still here. There is always going to be speculation. However, I am focused on Celtic right now, I don't have time to think about next season yet.

"I am only concentrating on Celtic. If something comes along, clubs can speak to my agent and if he thinks it is interesting enough, he will tell me. He has not told me anything interesting yet."

He added: "I've stated that my wish is to go to Spain. That would be lovely. But I don't know if anyone wants to have me. However, I would not want to consider a team that is fighting against relegation. I would also like to go somewhere warm. But nothing has happened. There have been no meetings in Barcelona, or London or Newcastle, or anywhere else. However, I am not in a hurry. If it is something nice, I will take it.

"If not, then people forget that I have another option - to go home to Sweden.

"My house near Helsingborgs is finished. If nothing comes up that excites me, I would go home and play football on a lower level, train less and do other things with my family that I cannot do now."
