£2 Million, And LuaLua Can Stay!

LUALUA CAN STAY

Portsmouth can have Lomano Lua Lua for £2m.

The on-loan striker revealed he would he love a move south if the Blues wanted him and said:

‘Football's a short career and I want to be playing. I want to be one of the top players around.

‘I'm learning, and the managers and players here can only help make me a better player. If they want me I'll have no regrets coming here. Everyone's been great to me at the club.

‘I've got my family here with me and I'd like to be settled.'

Newcastle chief operating officer Russell Cushing said: ‘Portsmouth payed a loan fee for Lua Lua, so we can't really say to them that he cannot play against us.'

Lua Lua added: ‘I didn't think I would be able to play – but I'm delighted I can.'
