Many people have witnessed Newcastle Utds week of bad luck run from bad to worse after seeing Lua Lua score against them on Sunday and players picking up injuries lets hope they have a good game tomorrow.

On the plus side of things Jonathon Woodgate is set to start after recovering from a groin injury which saw him sidelined for the last three games.

And Sir Bobby Robson has backed up his decision to drop Dyer, Robert, and Shearer from the first leg of the UEFA tie in Norway where they drew 1-1

"I thought we could get by without him - and Dyer and Laurent Robert for that matter - in the starting line-up in Norway and we didn't get beaten."

"There are still a lot of big-gamers to come for us, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea for instance and we'll need Alan in best condition for those."

"He's played more Premiership football than Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink or Eidur Gudjohnsen at Chelsea, Emile Heskey at Liverpool and Ruud van Nistelrooy at Manchester United and he's 33."

Alan Shearer is Set to Start tomorrow at St James' Park.

Today’s scan results on Kieron Dyers Hamstring have proved not as bad as first expected.

Dyer was originally expected to be out of the game for six to eight week but Newcastle have now revealed that it shouldn’t be that long.
