SMITH BID?

Smith however, has recently pledged his future to the club - saying that he will say, even if the Leeds is relegated at the end of the season.
Robson has not been put of by this and has REPORTEDLY prepared to splash big money on Smith, who he sees as a natural successor to Alan Shearer.
Newcastle enquired about Smith back in January, and according to the News of the World, Sir Bobby will follow up the enquiry with a concrete £8 million offer in the summer.
