Bolton go into the match in decline after a run of four straight defeats, but Robson said: "I'm sure Sam Allardyce will be happy we've had a tough game in Europe on Thursday night followed by an early morning return to Newcastle.
"But we'll just have to get on with it and hope we can carry on from where we left off in Mallorca.
"We know it won't be easy at Bolton because they are a tough side and the Reebok is a tough place to go to."
Bolton Wanderers are missing Youri Djorkaeff (hamstring) and captain Jay-Jay Okocha still hasn't netted in the league.
Aaron Hughes, Kieron Dyer and Michael Bridges are all hoping to be fit for the game after missing the UEFA Cup away-leg at Mallorca on Thursday.
