Shola Sick Of Playing A Bench Role At Newcastle

SHOLA COMPLAINS ABOUT BENCH ROLE

Shola is back in the first team frame after overcoming a facial injury, but is now only playing a bench role due to the fact that fit-againt Craig Bellamy is the favourite to partner skipper Alan Shearer.

"I think every time I have been given a chance, I have done myself justice," he moaned.

"That makes it that much harder to deal with it when you're left out.

"It has been a regular occurrence this season. You get disappointed when you get into the team, do well, but still get left out.

"It's not a nice feeling. I was really disappointed about it but there's nothing I can do about it.

"It was the manager's decision but I have to say that I'm very disappointed."
