DiVaio - Newcastle Speculation Comes To An End

DIVAIO SPECULATION TO END

Following a frustraiting season at the Italian club, it was expected that DiVaio would move to the Premiership in the summer and he had been widely tipped to make a move to Newcastle United and St James' Park.

However, all that speculation seems to have ended with reports in Italy claiming that he is ready to sign a new deal within days to keep him at Juventus.

Juve are so keen to keep DiVaio, that they are preparing to to offer him the chance to sign a deal which will keep him at the club until at least 2009.

DiVaio, a former Parma player, has managed 14 goals this season, despite his "poor" form.
