Ameobi Speaks About His Future

Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi is currently considering whether or not to stay at St James' Park. He is not playing regularly for Newcastle and feels that he doesn't deserve an England call-up. As he says, he will have to think about his career.

AMEOBI AND HIS FUTURE

He explained: "I don't deserve an England call-up because I'm not playing regularly for Newcastle.
"But that is the root of the problem. My form has been good enough to keep me in the side at times this season.
"No matter how well I play I always seem to be left out when others are available. I've talked to the manager about my frustrations.
"Maybe it's something that I'll have to think about in the summer because I don't want to be a bit-part player for much longer.
"I don't want to sound disrespectful but I have to think about my career."
