Midfielder Jermaine Jenas was delighted to grab his first European goal last night, as Newcastle United drew 1-1 draw away to PSV. Jenas' goal cancelled out Kezman's early lead to give the Magpies' an advantage going into the return leg.

JENAS DELIGHTED WITH GOAL

Jenas enjoyed the whole game, and said: "I am really delighted to have scored my first European goal, and to tell the truth I enjoyed the whole game."
However, he doesn't want anyone to get carried away. The tie is far from over. Newcastle will take on PSV on Wednesday evening at St James' Park, and Jenas added: "This tie is nowhere near finished.
"PSV are a very good side and it's far from over. We need to put in the same kind of resilient performance at St James' Park.
"After losing an early goal I think we showed great character and came back fighting.
"The longer the first half went, the better we got, and we didn't want the whistle to come.
"They were on the ropes and that's why it was so pleasing to score when we did.
"Away goals are always so valuable in Europe, but we know there is still a big job to be done next week."
