Robert: Lets Go For It

ROBERT: LETS GO FOR IT!

French winger Laurent Robert insists that Newcastle must go all-out for a win against PSV Eindhoven tonight at St James' Park to secure a place in the UEFA Cup semi-final.

Newcastle know that a clean sheet would see them through to the last four of the competition, but PSV will also be going out for a win.

The Magpies' cannot sit on on their away goal advantage against a team of PSV's attacking potential.  Laurent Robert uses Arsenal's shock Champions League exit as evidence.

Robert said: "The away goal is very important but we can't rely too much on it.

"They played Chelsea in the Champions League after scoring a goal at Stamford Bridge and still went out.

"That was a lesson to everyone. Every game is difficult but we will change the way we play in the second leg - we will be more attacking.

"I hope I will see more of the ball in the second leg - and I'm sure the other attackers would say the same.

"We spent long periods of the game in Holland pressing our opponents without actually seeing possession and that will change this week."
