Newcastle United's home game against Wolves has been officially postponed till 9th May (sunday)

Wolves fans set on travelling to St James' Park and who have already booked flights and made arrangements will be bitterly disappointed by the fixture change, rearrangements may not be possible and if they will come with an additional fee.

But due to Newcastle reaching the Semi Finals of the Uefa cup last night after a victory against PSV, in which both Shearer and Gary Speed scored they will now be playing Marseille on 6th may (thursday) giving an extra 24 hours preparation for the wolves match.

Sir Bobby Robson will breathe a huge sigh of relief when he hears the news and its gives the team some space between matches.
