Newcastle United have announced that their reserve team fixture at home to rivals Sunderland on Monday night is to be free for all.

This was announced following the news that chairman Freddy Shepherd wants a large crowd to turn out for the game, which will also see filming before, during and after the game for the movie, Goal!

The movie is based around a young Latino from Los Angeles who makes his name in the Premiership with Newcastle.

There will also be competitions on the night, and various first team players will be there, making appearances in the extra filming that is taking place.

Gates open at 7pm on Monday (April 19)
