Newcaslte United have to nine games unbeaten from now on, in order to to clinch fourth place in the league, AND the UEFA Cup. Jonathon Woodgate tells all, and wants this (hopefully) winning streak to start a result at Villa Park on Sunday.

JONATHAN WOODGATE: "Villa have climbed the league in the last few weeks and their result against Chelsea last weekend was magnificent.

"It's a six-pointer. We have to win at Villa, we have to beat Marseille and then we also have to take three points against Chelsea. There's no margin for error. As far as I'm concerned we need to embark on a nine-match unbeaten run starting at Villa Park and taking us all the way through to May's Uefa Cup final.

"It's all about staying unbeaten. Villa will do us no favours and it will be interesting to see how they approach the game.

"I've never played against Peter Crouch but I know all about him and what a tricky opponent he can be. He has a good touch for a big man.

"We're defending from the front and it's giving the back four more confidence.

"Titus [Bramble] and Andy [O'Brien] were both magnificent against PSV and no matter who plays in the centre of defence we're confident we can do a good job.

"The three of us should go far together at Newcastle United if we never lose sight of the fact that we have to keep learning and improving."
