Cocky Marseille Warn Newcastle

NEWCASTLE WARNED

Marseille and Senegal defender Habib Beye has warned Newcastle United about the fact that they put both Liverpool and Inter Milan out of the UEFA Cup, saying that they will do they same to the Toon!

The pair will first meet at St James’ Park on Thursday 22nd April, and centre-back Beye insisted:

“Newcastle will be fearful when they play us.

“Our good run started with our draw at Liverpool. That pulled the trigger on the starting gun for us.”

Manchester United 'keeper Fabien Barthez is currently on loan at Marseille, and admitted: “Newcastle are a different side to Inter Milan. But they have an equally impressive stadium and it is going to be hard for us over there.”
