Darren Ambrose speaks about joining Newcastle United FC, and his second father figure, manager Sir Bobby Robson.
Ambrose also reveals why he decided to come to St James' Park - with the likes of Arsenal also showing interest in him!
Ambrose said:
"If it had got to the summer there would have been a few clubs coming in - I knew Arsenal were interested and I think Tottenham were interested.
"But I always wanted to come to Newcastle because of the players they've got here and the expectations of everyone around the place in terms of winning trophies.
"I supported Tottenham as a youngster so I wouldn't have gone to Arsenal anyway! But it was always going to be Newcastle.
"They're known to play their young players as soon as they buy them, Bobby Robson is manager, they've got a good chairman and great players.
"There was never a question that Newcastle would be the club."
On Robson, the young winger added:
"He's like a second Dad really. He takes care of you so much - he's like a dad to all of us.
"He's the man who made me sign. You come and meet a man like that and you think 'Wow, I want to work under him'.
"He talks to you, encourages you and tells you where you're going wrong. He's just an unbelievable man to be around.
"He's lived up to all my expectations."
