LuaLua Staying At Pompey

Despite a host of injuries at the club, Newcastle United will NOT see DR Congo striker LuaLua return to St James' Park before his loan-spell with Portsmouth ends.

Craig Bellamy is likely to miss the rest of the season, and it was thought that LuaLua would return to his club to provide extra cover, but chairman Freddy Shepherd said: "It's not going to happen."

Having paid Newcastle £100,000 to keep LuaLua until the end of the season, Pompey will be keeping hold of the striker who has now netted three times for the club.
