Luis Miguel (Benfica) says he would love a move to Newcastle United, if it meant that he would be playing alongside Hugo Viana. He wants to re-unite their Portugal U21 partnership.

Miguel is likely to cost around £4M, but Benfica insist he is not for sale.

Speaking to the Northern Echo though, Miguel said:

"I know Hugo very well and, of course, I would love to play in the same side as him.

"He's a great player and it would fill me with pride to be in the same team as him.

"Bobby Robson is a coach with great qualities and all the players speak well of him. I know he is an excellent man-manager."

Are we going to be selling Hugo to Benfica then? Could be the only way for the pair to renew their partnership!
