Re. the game, it seemed that we just didn't want the ball and when we did have it we didn't know what to do with it. There was only Butt in Midfield that was working hard, and he did for 90 minutes. (he was my MoM) Dyer was pathectic, if he really thinks that sort of performance is going to merit a start in the england squad hes more deluded than the spuds. Bellamy was another one who never stopped running all game, that run from inside our own half was brilliant, shame shearer didnt have the legs to get on the end of it.

Right to my big observation of the night, I know Shearer is bound to get hounded but heres by thought on him tonight I had a close eye on Shearer all night, well as much as I could as I was watching on telly, so please correct me if i'm out of order! Shearer just wasnt in the game at all, we were lobbing balls up to him and he only seemed to win about 1 in 5 of the headers. But apart from the shot late on in the 2nd half thats all he did. It seemed to me that he didnt want to work for the ball. One instance, there was a long ball into shearer and he did well and chested it down, but then it was taken away at his feet. and insted of trying to get the ball that was about 2 metres in front of him he just stopped and shouted at the ref and expected someone else to do it. Shola Ameobi came on and tracked back half the pitch and stopped a threatening Darren Huckerby run, he did brilliant and showed he wanted the ball (Hats of to Shola). In all, I think its obvious I wasnt Impressed with Big Al for the first time in a while, I think its time for Bobby to bite the bullet and start Kluivert, and I dont think he'll have that many people get on his back about it.

Re. Rooney - Great news that FF is prepared to go higher. cant wait for Evertons reaction tommorow.
