Three of Blackburn's backroom staff will follow former manager Graeme Souness to Newcastle United, and will all take up their position's next Monday.
Alan Murray, former Hartlepool and Darlington manager, and Phil Boersma, both former playing colleagues of Souness's, and Dean Saunders, who played under Souness at Liverpool and Galatasaray and more recently was working as Rovers' first team coach, will all join United's backroom staff when Souness takes over next Monday.
It is unknown what official positions they will be handed and whether John Carver, currently in charge of the first team for this weekend's match against Blackburn, and David Geddis will be asked to leave the club to make way for Souness's trio of friends.
It also seems likely that chief scout Charlie Woods and director of football Gordon Milne (what does he actually do?) will leave the club in the coming days.
