Midfielder Kieron Dyer has been sent away to see a specialist following a persistant hamstring problem.
The England international has not really had chance to impress Graeme Souness. He made an appearance in Souness' first game in charge against Bnei Sachnin in the Uefa Cup, but his injury flared up.
During the last six months, Kieron Dyer has torn his hamstring four times!
The 25-year-old has now been sent to a specialist unit at Loughborough University to try and work out the cause of his problems.
