James Milner comments ahead of Sunday's match away at Bolton. It was at Bolton on the 2nd May that his team at that time, Leeds United, were relegated from the Premiership after losing 4-1 to the Reebock Stadium side.

Milner said:

"I played in that game last season for Leeds and it wasn't nice. It was an experience I would not like to go through again. But you have to learn from your setbacks and bounce back."

He added:

"If I can learn from last season and put it into my game, then hopefully I can learn from that.

"I found it very difficult. As a Leeds fan, it was tough.

"I'd been at the club for eight years which made it very hard. My mum and dad are fans of the club as well, which made it even more difficult.

"They were tough days, but I just hope it can make me a better person and a better player having gone through that.

"Obviously it's not nice and it is something I am determined won't happen again."
