Graeme Souness has today confirmed an enquire about the availability of Robert Huth. He also has said that Dyer is not part of any deal.

"Since I've been here the chairman has made another phone call to Chelsea enquiring about the availability of Robert Huth," Souness said.

"But Kieron Dyer was not mentioned in that conversation."

Souness said that the stories involving Dyer have not come from Newcastle and have originated in London. If its just paper talk or Dyers London buddies who knows but its a bit of a disappointment.

"The Dyer connection has come from somewhere in London,"

"And it certainly wasn't originated from anyone at this football club."

Still praying to the football Gods that the mad man from Manchester doesn't see sense soon and puts an offer in for Dyer.

More when we get it.
