Graeme Souness today gave some hints about who would play against Sochaux on Thursday night. Here is the probable team:

Given

Hughes
Bramble
Elliott (c)
Bernard

Ambrose
Dyer
Butt
Milner

Bellamy
Ameobi

Subs: Harper, Taylor, Robert, Jenas, Bowyer, Brittain, Kluivert.

Bowyer might start in place of Dyer and Kluivert might be given the nod ahead of Bellamy, but apart from that this is probably the eleven that will start.
