Newcastle Enquire into Yet ANOTHER Defender

Sammy Kuffour has attracted the interest of Newcastle this time as the hunt goes on for 3 defenders to sign in January.

The Bayern Munich defender’s contract expires at the end of the season and Bayern Munich have not offered the Ghana international a new contract yet. 

It is reported that Newcastle Chairman Freddy Shepard has made an enquiry into the availability of the veteran defender before an approach in the January transfer window. 

Kuffour joins Huth, Upson, Boumsong, Bak, Hangelang, Gabbidon, Dawson and O’Shea as defenders Newcastle have expressed an interest in signing in January.
