On the back of today’s historic decision for Yeading FC, all parties are tending to the necessary administration for what will be the biggest game ever for this club and probably the most momentous of its kind for the FA Cup.

Yeading FC will release further statements as and when more information is to hand. Yeading FC are proud of their facilities and are looking forward to the opportunity of hosting the world of football and supporters around the globe on January 8th.

With regard to ticket sales, more information will be released in due course once discussions with the Football Association and Newcastle United have been concluded. Yeading FC politely request that members of the public refrain from making ticket requests until further announcements are made. Full details of the availability and allocation procedure will be posted here when available.

Yeading secretary Bill Gritt told Sky Sports News:

"There are a few things we need to get done still, but I am quite confident we will get there.

"There is some segregation, tidying up, that sort of thing - but we know what we need to do and we will get it done.

"It is very important for us. It is a historic moment, and I am very proud to be involved in it.

"I will be quite happy to get a draw. A win would be unbelievable."
