Chelsea Boss Mourinho Wants More Competition

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes that the Premiership is a turn-off for many fans... due to the fact that it is dominated by Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea (yes, he did mention his own team!). He also believes the recent form of Newcastle, Everton and Liverpool can only be a good thing.
Mourinho cannot wait for Liverpool, Eveton or ourselves to show that something extra - and challenge for the title.
He said: "I think it is great for English football if more teams are involved.
"Liverpool has a great manager and good players - and they have improved. Newcastle are the same, because I think Sir Bobby Robson bought an incredible squad for them - and if in one or two years' time we can have five or six English teams fighting from the beginning for the Premiership it would be even better.
"It is not good when you bet 50% on one team and 50% on another. What can motivate people and create even more love for English football is when more teams can win the Premiership.
"At the moment there are only three teams who can do that - Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal."
