Boumsong Frustrated

Newcastle centre-back Jean-Alain Boumsong has admitted he will be a frustrated spectator when Newcastle take on Olympiakos.

The 25-year-old has played for Rangers in European competition this season so is ineligible to play.

 

Boumsong said:

 

"I am disappointed I cannot play in Europe,"

 

“But I'll spend the week training with the reserves and the younger players because it's important I stay fit.

"And on Thursday, I will watch the game on television and support the rest of the boys because I am a Newcastle player."
