Alan Shearer, who is leading everyone to beleive that this is his last season, has revealed he believes that whoever wins the UEFA cup match tonight between Newcastle and Olympiakos will be the winner of the cup.

"We have got to take each round as it comes, but I have looked at the teams left in it and without a doubt I think Newcastle and Olympiakos are two of the strongest teams left,

You look at who was knocked out in the last round - Ajax, Valencia, Feyenoord - there are some big teams who have gone out and if we get through this game, we have set ourselves up very nicely.”

However he concluded with

"But we have got to get through it first."

Newcastle walk into the game unbeaten in their last eight games but Olympiakos’ record at home isn’t too bad either.

Kluivert is fit and hopes to start but Newcastle are still without Celestine Babayaro.
