Aston Villa defender Aaron Hughes has made a plea to former Newcastle team-mate Craig Bellamy, to come join him at Villa.
Hughes was recently signed for £1.5 million by the midlands club, angering many
But not as many would be bothered about Craig Bellamy leaving the club after a bust-up with manager, Graham Souness.
Hughes said:
"Craig is different class and any club would love to have him on their books.
"The press that he gets is unfortunate, but he is still a fantastic player.
"What people don't see is what he does on the training ground. He works harder than anyone else. There is a lot that people don't see with Craig."
