Toffees To Sign Bellamy?

It looks like Newcastle out of favour striker Craig Bellamy will be David Moyes first big summer signing after losing out on Scott Parker and apparently now also on Belozoglü Emre.

Everton manager David Moyes has been given the green light by chairman Bill Kenwright and Newcastle boss Graeme Souness to open talks with the Welshman.

The Toffees were being linked with Bellamy before and are now looking to wrap up a deal which could see Bellamy's wages rise to a £50,000-a-week.

Both Newcastle and Everton supremo's Kenwright and Sheperd had talks earlier this week and a £5m bid has been accepted.

Finally a interested club seems to appeal to Bellamy with Everton offering Champions League football and the wages he is asking for.
