Newcastle: Spurs you’re having a laugh surely

Spurs wanted to capture the signing of Jenas from Newcastle United, well cor blimey and stone the crows and other quaint cockney sayings. Really if there were ever a club with delusional tendencies, Spurs are it.

Maybe it is something to do with the carbon dioxide poisoning so prevalent in that waste of good pasture land we call London, or perhaps its years of musical torture, or as they prefer to call it Chas and Dave, but really did they think they had a hope?

And its infectious, there was a cockney singer in the Metro centre the other week, sitting trying to have a quiet pint and listening to the strains of, Oh er Oim getting married in the morning, to which I rightly replied, ‘good now **** off.’

But back to the point Spurs, little club, living in the shadows of the neighbours Arsenal, and delusions of being a big club. They were once of course big, back when Moses was a bairn, but now they small, insignificant and frankly a bit of a joke.

Every couple of weeks they are linked with someone they are never going to get, this time around its JJ. Not saying we will hold on to JJ, just realistically if you had a choice between Newcastle, Arsenal and Man Utd, would anyone really pick Spurs?
